FAQs
Kris Cann, Personal Trainer, Bournemouth, Dorset, London, England
I will try to answer as many questions as I can on this page but if I have left anything out then please give me a call.
How many sessions a week should I do?
As regards sessions per week - it all depends on:
- What your goals are
- Whether or not you do any other activity/exercise
- How serious you are about achieving your goals
To give you an idea - I have client's who do 4 sessions a week and I have world champion athletes who see me just once a week - the frequency really depends on what you need from your training.
Goal setting
The more specific you can be with this, (as long as it is realistic) the bigger the chance of getting results. It's all about you having a crystal clear idea of why you want me to train you, this helps me to motivate you and means I am able to design workouts and programmes to suit your individual needs.
Where
My private gym at the Suncliff hotel, this is my gym and is solely for private training, so there are no distractions or other people to worry about.
When
I am busy but have some slots available. It usually works that client's keep set slots on a week in week out basis unless they work shifts in which case we both have to communicate and be a little flexible.
Consultation and goal setting
I like to meet clients before signing up, really to see if I am the right trainer for you to work with and also to discuss your goal setting and help you to get the most from the goal setting process.
Consultation is free, usually takes 1hr and is at the Cumberland hotel where we have a coffee and go through everything you need to know.
I think that is about all I can tell you for now and look forward to hearing from you soon!
