Personal Training in 2018

2018 saw me continue to work with Sandbanks celebrity Harry Redknapp. Harry has been training with me on and off for around 10 years. He’s a busy guy, but when there’s time he loves to box and enjoys a bit of weight training. Harry is a pleasure to work with and always tells me how good he feels after training sessions. It was amazing to see him, complete some horrible challenges to win I’m a celebrity Get me out of here! Congratulations Harry.

Bournemouth Lions Rugby club finish second in the South West premier division and narrowly missed out on promotion. I trained the squad of around 50 men every Tuesday and helped them achieve and maintain the fitness needed to play a fantastic seasons rugby.

Preparing a super fit client of mine (also a Septuagenarian) for the London marathon was challenging as she needed rehab after a nasty injury. But she made it, mega effort D.P well done

I’ve trained non-runners to run half marathons and non weight lifters to compete in powerlifting.

A speciality of mine is designing conditioning sessions for athletes of all types. I really enjoy thinking outside the box to get sports people pushing the boundaries and doing their very best. I’ve been working with a couple of very talented athletes and can’t wait to see what 2019 produces.

Skinny people have grown muscle, heavy people lost weight and unfit people got healthier.

People have also come in needing to get fitter before surgery. Training with guidance from your medical team is proven to be very beneficial to reduce recovery times and accelerate return to normal life.

One of the Ju-jitsu practitioners I train won a novice title competing at the Roger Gracie academy in London. Max is storming up the ranks and will be one to watch for the future.

New Locations for 2019

There was a big up turn in clients wanting to get fit in the great outdoors. Whitecliff and Poole parks are ideal places for outdoor workouts so If that’s your thing let me know.

I have carefully selected two new training venues in Parkstone. So for clients who live in Ashley Cross, Lilliput and Branksome park personal training in Poole is easier to reach than travelling over to Bournemouth

Home training also became more popular, a few clients having larger houses and sometimes gyms decided home exercising was for them. So if you have gym space at home that you don’t use enough, give home personal training a try.
